"It is my privilege to serve as the Chairman of the Martial Arts Authority of Gujarat. Gujarat has a rich heritage of traditional martial arts, and our goal is to support this background by building updated infrastructure, assisting elite athletes, and ensuring that training centers across all districts are accessible."
Under the guidance of the Sports and Youth Department, Government of Gujarat, MAAG has structured athlete profiles, registered coaches, and established functioning district associations across all 33 districts.
We remain committed to transparent governance, standard practices, and facilitating progress for our athletes at state and national levels.
Biographical Profile
Shri Rajendra Bhai Patel has served as Chairman and Patron since 2020. His tenure has focused on expanding martial arts disciplines, securing state support, and establishing stable operational frameworks for local committees.
His administrative model prioritizes digital management methods, leading to the creation of the MAAG Digital Portal to manage state athletic data.
